Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Boucher (ranked 5165 p4p, 5470 weight class) and Martin Bhullar (ranked 509 p4p, 521 weight class). Beau Boucher has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Beau Boucher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Bhullar! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boucher dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boucher turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Boucher plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Boucher throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bhullar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boucher's guard. Bhullar pushes down on Boucher's leg and manages to get into half guard. Boucher tries to roll over but Bhullar keeps him under control. Bhullar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boucher is looking for a sweep. Bhullar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Boucher wants to control but Bhullar is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bhullar content to control rather than advance. Boucher wants to get back to full guard. Boucher is breathing heavily. Well, if Bhullar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bhullar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. A slapping leg kick lands for Boucher.
Boucher dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bhullar. That did some damage! Boucher is looking to slow Bhullar down with leg kicks. Bhullar takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Boucher wants to clinch but Bhullar slips to the side and Bhullar counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bhullar controls from within his opponent's guard. Boucher keeping full guard, as Bhullar tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boucher is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Boucher being controlled here, momentarily. Bhullar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boucher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bhullar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boucher swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bhullar is still trying to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boucher has his foot on Bhullar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bhullar works his way back into a safe position though. Bhullar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bhullar's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boucher throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bhullar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bhullar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boucher. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Some wild striking there from Boucher.
Boucher misses with a double jab
and Bhullar counters with a single leg into guard. Boucher didn't expect that.
Boucher is rocked! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Martin Bhullar will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Boucher throws a leg kick that is checked and Bhullar goes for a counter takedown and lands it with interest - it's knocked his opponent senseless! It looks like Bhullar 's shoulder did the damage as the two fighters hit the mat.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Martin Bhullar!
