And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Damien Kaufmann!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.

What can Kaufmann do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Jones is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kaufmann is defending well though. Jones let's go of the attempt for now.
Jones tries to get the hooks in deep but Kaufmann pushed the leg off.
Jones is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kaufmann is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Kaufmann is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Kaufmann felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Kaufmann rolls, trying to escape but Jones keeps control of the position.
Jones is riding his opponent, not letting Kaufmann buck him off.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Jones.
Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jones is looking for a choke. Kaufmann gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Kaufmann manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Jones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
