Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adriel Nayati (ranked 1003 p4p, 1316 weight class) and Ty Little (ranked 146 p4p, 188 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nayati might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Indian Calling - At War. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adriel Nayati! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Little! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nayati. Nayati circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Little is defended easily by Nayati. Nayati changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Nayati takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nayati darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Nayati sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Little defending well though. Nayati thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Little's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nayati missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Little on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Little taking some punishment here, with Nayati in his half guard. Nayati takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nayati missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Nayati thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Little is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nayati scores with a couple of nice shots. Little kicks off Nayati and gets to his feet. Nayati shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nayati was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nayati scoring with punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nayati working the body and head with strikes. Sloppy strikes there by Nayati. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nayati landing strikes. Nayati in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Nayati has an Americana. Little didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nayati is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nayati hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Adriel Nayati! Adriel Nayati retains his lightweight title! Adriel Nayati thanked the fans post fight for their support.
