Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Needle!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Needle gets tackled into the cage by Strap. Strap maintains the clinch.
Strap lands a nice uppercut.
Needle pulls Strap into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Needle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Strap forces his way into half guard.
Strap slows the pace down in half guard.
Strap wants to free his trapped foot but Needle is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Strap has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Needle looks winded!
Strap content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Needle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Strap looking to isolate an arm here. Needle doesn't see it coming and as Strap extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Strap!

Jock Strap tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
