The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cid swats away the attempt to clinch by Rick.
Rick gets a clinch.
Rick lands a shoulder strike.
Cid lands a takedown into guard.
Cid won't allow Rick to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rick has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Cid has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Cid is trying to pull guard but Rick turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Rick.
Cid has Rick pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rick manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Rick wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cid has him pressed against the cage.

Rick darts in and clinches Cid up against the cage.
Rick has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Cid seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Rick can turn it around.

Cid goes for a takedown attempt but Rick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Rick tries to clinch but Cid is having none of it.
Cid drops down looking for a counter takedown but Rick sprawls and moves away.
Rick drives through and clinches with Cid against the cage.
Rick connects with a nasty looking knee right to Cid's face.
Rick manages to break the clinch.
Rick fakes the leg kick and cracks Cid in the body.

Rick fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cid seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Rick pushes Cid up against the cage in a clinch.
Rick gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cid.
Cid takes a knee to the side of the body.
Nice body punch from Rick.
Rick with a knee to the head.
Cid drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rick pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rick lands a big head kick that sends Cid tumbling to the mat! Rick takes a step backwards and waves Cid back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cid is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rick connects with a nice cross there... Cid is looking wobbly and Rick recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Cid to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Rick jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Arj Rick!
After winning the bout, Arj Rick thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
