Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Theo Leoni!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Monte ducks under a wild hook from Leoni.
Del Monte throws a poor cross that misses
and Leoni counters with a one-two to the body.
Del Monte looks to land a left hand but Leoni moved out of range nicely.
Leoni slips under a jab.
A nice side step and Leoni releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Del Monte just misses with a punch to the body.
Leoni looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Leoni moves into the clinch.

Del Monte ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Del Monte no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Del Monte looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Leoni avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Leoni got a little sloppy there for a moment and Del Monte has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leoni has managed to get both his arms back between Del Monte's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Del Monte keeping moving, preventing Leoni from controlling successfully.

Leoni is posturing up here but Del Monte has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Leoni tries to roll out but it's too tight and Leoni has to tap! Slick submission there by Del Monte!
