Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Berge (ranked 916 p4p, 1272 weight class) and Eric Jacquin (ranked 136 p4p, 183 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tobias Berge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Jacquin! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacquin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jacquin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Berge moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Berge wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Jacquin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Berge. Jacquin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jacquin thuds a left hand into Berge's body. We've been hearing reports that Berge has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Berge throws a right hand that Jacquin ducks under and follows up with a left that Jacquin also avoids with ease. Jacquin catches Berge with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jacquin lands with a shot to the body. Berge tries to clinch there but Jacquin circles away.

Berge pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jacquin is out of range and Berge settles back down. Jacquin connects with a body shot. Berge tries to clinch and Jacquin counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The fighters circling - Berge throws out the jab but it was never going to land. That's one minute gone in the round. Jacquin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A big left from Berge misses. Berge moves into the clinch. Berge swings wildly with an uppercut but Jacquin uses good head movement to avoid it. Still in the clinch, Berge scores with a nice short uppercut. Jacquin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Jacquin cracks Berge with a right hand to the side of the head. Berge misses with a left hand and Jacquin counters with a nice uppercut. Berge lands a nice shot that snaps Jacquin's head back.

Jacquin tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Berge slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jacquin keeping full guard, as Berge tries to pass.

Berge throws a shot from downtown. Jacquin moves away and avoids it. Berge on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jacquin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Berge changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jacquin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Berge slows the pace down. Berge moves into full mount! Jacquin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jacquin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jacquin is looking to get to half guard. Berge content just to control the position here. Jacquin is desperately trying to improve his position but Berge has a good base and remains in mount.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Berge moves nicely into side control. Berge advances to full mount. In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Tobias Berge! A less than humble Tobias Berge misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
