Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Rose (ranked 2320 p4p, 2479 weight class) and Sikke Vonnegut (ranked 188 p4p, 201 weight class). Sikke Vonnegut will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brandon Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sikke Vonnegut!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Vonnegut there.
Rose tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vonnegut sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rose somewhat.
Rose gets a double leg takedown into Vonnegut's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rose wants to control from the top but Vonnegut keeps moving.
Rose drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Rose as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Vonnegut screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Rose! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Brandon Rose!
