Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between RollBack TheNineteenth (ranked 1683 p4p, 1770 weight class) and Mickey Contreras (ranked 223 p4p, 231 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, RollBack TheNineteenth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mickey Contreras! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Contreras uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from TheNineteenth. TheNineteenth takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Contreras tries to move into range but TheNineteenth moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. TheNineteenth takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
TheNineteenth throws a hook but Contreras avoids it easily. Jab, jab by TheNineteenth - just one landing. Contreras throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Contreras throws a jab when TheNineteenth was well out of range. TheNineteenth scores with a punch to the head. Contreras lands with an uppercut that bounces TheNineteenth off the cage and back into range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! TheNineteenth's jab looks to have found its range, popping Contreras under the eye. TheNineteenth definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. TheNineteenth connects with the punch. TheNineteenth throws out a loose jab but Contreras uses good head movement to avoid it. Contreras avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. TheNineteenth missing with a left hand there. Contreras was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Contreras is clearly trying to counter these attacks from TheNineteenth with a body shot. TheNineteenth keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Contreras. It looked like TheNineteenth wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Contreras defending well as TheNineteenth loads up on a big left hand. Contreras throws an off balance right hand
enabling TheNineteenth to counter with a crisp jab. TheNineteenth fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. RollBack TheNineteenth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Contreras slips a straight right by TheNineteenth. Contreras ducks under a wild hook from TheNineteenth. Contreras looks like he wants to counter punch here. Contreras displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as TheNineteenth throws out the jab. Contreras clinches up against the cage. Contreras scores with a shot to the side of TheNineteenth's head. TheNineteenth lands a shoulder strike. A head punch blocked on the inside by TheNineteenth. TheNineteenth breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. TheNineteenth misses the jab. Contreras lands a nice looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. TheNineteenth swings for the body but Contreras moves out of range.

enabling TheNineteenth to counter with a crisp jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Contreras. TheNineteenth misses with a wild body shot. Contreras swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Contreras scores with a sloppy right hand. TheNineteenth should have avoided that one. Contreras bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Contreras misses with an uppercut
and TheNineteenth counters with a straight right hand. Contreras slips a straight right by TheNineteenth. TheNineteenth misses with an uppercut. Contreras saw that one coming. Contreras ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. TheNineteenth throws an off balance right hand
and Contreras counters with a nice uppercut. Contreras uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from TheNineteenth. A little jabbing left from Contreras on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. TheNineteenth jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. TheNineteenth throws a poor cross that misses
and Contreras counters with a crisp right that sends TheNineteenth to the canvas! Contreras follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
