Bryan comes to the cage accompanied by Nickelback - Burn It To the Ground. Johns is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Just Another Victim. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, King Bryan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Johns! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johns pushes Bryan up against the cage in a clinch. Bryan tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bryan fails to pull guard.
Bryan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johns walks away with a smile on his face. Bryan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Bryan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bryan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johns tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bryan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johns jabbing away but nothing is landing. Johns pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Johns wants to clinch. Nice sprawl there from Johns as Bryan shoots in. Johns closes the distance and clinches. Bryan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Johns clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Bryan is trying to stick to Johns's back but Johns is turning into Bryan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bryan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Johns. Johns is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Johns stands up and waves to Bryan to follow him. Johns fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bryan, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johns pushes off an throws an elbow but Bryan leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Bryan tries for a takedown but Johns manages to get underhooks.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Johns just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bryan's brow. Bryan manages to pull guard.
Bryan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bryan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johns can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Johns is posturing up here but Bryan has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Johns tries to roll out but it's too tight and Johns has to tap! Slick submission there by Bryan!
