The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nucombe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cooter counters with a stiff right hand.
Cooter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Cooter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nucombe is looking to counter the offense by Cooter and move into the clinch.
Cooter cracks Nucombe with an open hand slap.
Cooter connects with a crisp jab.
Nucombe misses with a body shot.
Nucombe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nucombe throws a body punch but Cooter moves out of range.

It looks like Cobweb Cooter has been cut.

Cooter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nucombe sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Cooter tries a quick counter leg kick but Nucombe is wise to it.
Nucombe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cooter is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nucombe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Nucombe moves out of range as Cooter throws a body kick.
Nucombe throws a shot from downtown. Cooter moves away and avoids it.

Nucombe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Cooter has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Nucombe steps into range and cracks Cooter with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Cooter flops backwards and Nucombe dives into his guard looking to finish!

Nucombe is looking to stand up but Cooter won't let him.
Cooter is still in real trouble! Can Nucombe finish him?
Cooter wants to sweep but no luck.

Nucombe stands and steps away. Cooter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Nucombe knocks out Cooter with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Nucombe before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Nucombe picks up the big W with a huge KO!
