Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jambalaya Jones (ranked 4897 p4p, 1225 weight class) and Daniel Maverick (ranked 500 p4p, 175 weight class). Jambalaya Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Jones might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Maverick lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jones is rocked!
Maverick cracks Jones with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jones tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Maverick pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jones is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Maverick!
After the fight, Daniel Maverick was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
