Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kimo Apolo (ranked 1001 p4p, 2235 weight class) and Jurgen Muller (ranked 145 p4p, 296 weight class). Kimo Apolo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jurgen Muller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimo Apolo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jurgen Muller!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apolo looks to land a left hand but Muller moved out of range nicely.
Muller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Apolo.
Apolo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muller manages to avoid it.
Apolo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Muller throws a shot to the body.
Muller lands a slapping body shot.
Apolo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Muller.
Muller throws a shot from downtown. Apolo moves away and avoids it.
Muller punishes Apolo's body with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muller rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Apolo counters with a nice body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Muller there.
Apolo jabs at Muller's body.
Apolo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Muller finds it's way round the side to connect with Apolo's head.

Muller misses with a right hand
and Apolo counters with a nice uppercut.
Muller throws a hook but Apolo blocks it.
Apolo was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Jab, jab by Muller - just one landing.
Apolo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Muller.
Muller fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Apolo.
A big left from Muller misses.
Apolo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The crowd cheers as Muller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Apolo doesn't seem phased though.
Apolo slips a jab from Muller.
Muller's coach down at Combat Wombat Burrow was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Muller's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Apolo throws a sloppy body shot
and Muller counters with a nice body shot.
Apolo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Muller looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Muller misses with a hook. Apolo ducked under it nicely.
Some wild striking there from Muller.
Muller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

enabling Apolo to counter with a crisp jab.

Muller buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Apolo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Apolo misses with a wild body shot.

A slow jab from Muller misses its intended target.
Muller throws out a loose jab but Apolo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Apolo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Apolo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Muller is rocked!
Muller throws a combination that misses
and Apolo counters with a big left hand that crumples Muller! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
