Lepp comes to the cage accompanied by Location . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carter Lepp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaxson Munro!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lepp moves in looking to clinch but Munro pushes him off.
Lepp fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lepp throws out a leg kick but Munro moves out of range and Lepp only half commits.
Munro connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lepp tries to clinch up but Munro circles away and keeps his distance.
Lepp tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lepp is looking to score with low kicks.
Munro looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lepp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Munro swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Munro rushes Lepp and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lepp pulls guard effortlessly.
Lepp looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lepp looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Munro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Lepp looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Munro passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lepp blocking the ground and pound attempt from Munro.
Munro uses his free foot to push down on Lepp's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lepp.
Munro has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lepp's face.
Lepp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Munro on the ground.

Lepp tries to reverse the position but Munro maintains control.
Munro controlling the position easily from mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Munro lands with some strikes.
Munro controlling from the full mount.
Munro cracks Lepp with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaxson Munro!
An out of breath Jaxson Munro thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
