The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lexington misses with a wild combination.
Lodge is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Lodge gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Darren Lexington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lexington lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lexington.
Lodge closes the distance and clinches up with Lexington, looking for a takedown. Lodge pushes Lexington against the cage but Lexington circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lodge takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Lexington connects with a combination that backs up Lodge into the cage. Lexington lands a flurry of punches that gets past Lodge's guard. Lodge is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Lexington bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
