The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jesus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Earl is trying to defend but Jesus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Earl tries to roll over but Jesus keeps him under control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Earl is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jesus pulls his head out easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Earl's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Jesus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Earl. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Earl has his feet on Jesus 's thighs here. He's pushed Jesus off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jesus screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
