Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nitro (ranked 1088 p4p, 1531 weight class) and Derwent Bolt (ranked 164 p4p, 240 weight class). Nitro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, A Perfect Hero - Super Eurobeat. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Nitro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derwent Bolt!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bolt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nitro.
Bolt throws a shot to the body.
Bolt stuns Nitro with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Bolt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nitro is looking to regain half guard here but Bolt keeps moving and retains side control.
Nitro manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Let's hope that Bolt has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bolt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nitro as he jumps to the side.

Bolt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nitro.
Derwent Bolt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Nitro counters with a nice uppercut.

It seemed like Bolt was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nitro connects with a looping right hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Bolt with that takedown attempt.
Jimmy Nitro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derwent Bolt.

Bolt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bolt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nitro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bolt has managed to get both his arms back between Nitro's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jimmy Nitro will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nitro feints and then cracks Bolt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bolt down.

Nitro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bolt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nitro scrambles back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Derwent Bolt.
