Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Menshikov (ranked 3280 p4p, 2562 weight class) and Murfum Orcarm (ranked 166 p4p, 132 weight class). Murfum Orcarm has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maxim Menshikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Murfum Orcarm! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orcarm with a poor takedown and Menshikov counters with a lovely shot to the body. Orcarm moves into the clinch successfully.
Menshikov manages to break the clinch.
Menshikov looks to score with a jab to the body but Orcarm is just out of range. Orcarm is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Orcarm dives in and grabs Menshikov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Menshikov pushes down on Orcarm's head and hops out. Orcarm shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Menshikov sprawls well. Menshikov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Orcarm gets slowly back to his feet. Maxim Menshikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murfum Orcarm. Menshikov rushes Orcarm and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orcarm fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Orcarm has Menshikov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Orcarm pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Menshikov tumbling to the mat - Orcarm dives into Menshikov's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Menshikov holds on and takes a little breather.

Orcarm wants to control from the top but Menshikov keeps moving. Menshikov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Menshikov looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Menshikov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Orcarm wants to control from the top but Menshikov keeps moving. Orcarm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Menshikov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Menshikov is trying to keep Orcarm in close.

Orcarm postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Orcarm's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Menshikov misses with a hook. Orcarm ducked under it nicely. Orcarm closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Menshikov quickly recovers to half guard. Orcarm prevents Menshikov from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Orcarm connects with a nice short shot to Menshikov's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Menshikov is looking to control Orcarm's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Menshikov avoid being mounted? Menshikov has his hands clasped together around Orcarm's back. He's all about the action. Menshikov is defending against the submission attempts here by Orcarm.
Orcarm controlling the action here. Menshikov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Orcarm is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Orcarm stalling. Menshikov taking some punishment here, with Orcarm in his half guard. Menshikov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Orcarm's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Orcarm's back! Orcarm breaks Menshikov's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Orcarm scoring with some ground and pound. Orcarm drops back looking for a leg! Menshikov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Menshikov manages to kick Orcarm off! Orcarm jumps back into Menshikov's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Menshikov is pulling down on Orcarm's head to control his posture. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Orcarm throws a big elbow that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Orcarm is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Menshikov throws the left hand but Orcarm avoids the punch easily. Nice takedown defense from Menshikov. No joy for Orcarm on that attempt. Orcarm moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Menshikov is looking to clinch but Orcarm is avoiding it.

Orcarm gets control of Menshikov's arms and successfully pulls guard. Orcarm will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Orcarm is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Orcarm has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Menshikov looking to sit in guard and control but Orcarm gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Orcarm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Orcarm wants to control from the top but Menshikov keeps moving. Orcarm makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Menshikov looking for a sweep. Not yet Menshikov, not yet. Menshikov is trying to control the position but Orcarm postures up. Orcarm chips away with some ground and pound.

Orcarm preventing the sweep. Orcarm drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Orcarm jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Orcarm has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Menshikov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. Murfum Orcarm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Orcarm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Menshikov defends well. Menshikov looking to pass the guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Menshikov throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Menshikov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Menshikov looking to sit in guard and control but Orcarm gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Orcarm controlling from the top position. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Orcarm scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Orcarm gets in close and instigates a clinch. Menshikov manages to break the clinch.
Orcarm shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Orcarm was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Menshikov is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Orcarm is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Menshikov has escaped the position, nice work there. Orcarm swings around for an armbar but Menshikov sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Orcarm's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Orcarm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Menshikov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Menshikov is looking to advance position but Orcarm has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Menshikov is working to get back to half guard.
Orcarm controlling from the full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Menshikov slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Orcarm drops an elbow to the side of Menshikov's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Murfum Orcarm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Orcarm winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
