Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shashlyk Lykmekov (ranked 4468 p4p, 6457 weight class) and Makebono Bowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowen has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 161 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makebono Bowen!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykmekov pushes Bowen up against the cage in a clinch.
Bowen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lykmekov gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Well, if Lykmekov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

Lykmekov has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Bowen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lykmekov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lykmekov stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lykmekov and Bowen are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Lykmekov throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Bowen into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Lykmekov knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
