Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chimzat Khamaev (ranked 2272 p4p, 25149 weight class) and Noomnoi Sitsongrit (ranked 0 p4p, 626 weight class). Khamaev comes to the cage accompanied by Theme Song. Noomnoi Sitsongrit will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chimzat Khamaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noomnoi Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khamaev shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sitsongrit manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sitsongrit keeping moving, preventing Khamaev from controlling successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sitsongrit can do anything to dispel that myth.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khamaev accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've been hearing good reports from Khamaev's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Khamaev scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sitsongrit is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Khamaev can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
