Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walay Buut (ranked 24500 p4p, 24134 weight class) and Higanti Libat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higanti Libat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 24 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut shoots for a double leg takedown but Libat sprawls well. He's pushed Buut's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Libat replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buut blocks it well. Buut throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Libat tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Buut is in Libat's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Libat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Buut is one step ahead there. Libat has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat is trying to control the position but Buut postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Libat looking to control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Buut controlling from the top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Libat shoots for a takedown but Buut saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Buut is looking for a counter combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Buut shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Libat manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Buut is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Buut with a nice head shot there. Buut distracts Libat with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat is controlling Buut's posture. Buut slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buut shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Libat sprawls well. Libat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Buut gets slowly back to his feet. Libat shoots in for a double leg but Buut sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut gets caught flat footed, as Libat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Libat shoots in for a takedown but Buut shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Buut closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Libat's guard. Buut controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Libat not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Libat controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Buut controls the pace. Walay Buut overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Libat has Buut pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Libat fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Buut to the ground. Libat is now in Buut's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buut is controlling Libat's posture. Libat trying to control but Buut is working from the bottom. Libat wants to pass the guard but Buut is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut has control of Libat's left arm, preventing Libat from doing any damage. Libat is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Buut pulls Libat in close to his closed guard and prevents Libat from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Libat trying to control the position from guard on top but Buut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Buut misses with a body kick. And Libat responds with a good body kick, but Buut manages to step out the way in time. Excellent takedown into side control there by Libat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat staying calm. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Walay Buut will probably get the nod. That's time! Buut's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Libat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Buut is fending him off so far but Libat persists. Nope, Buut circles away and we're back to standing. Libat shoots in but Buut avoids the takedown attempt easily. Libat shoots in looking for a takedown. Buut tries to sprawl out of it but Libat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buut manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And Buut counters with a quick kick to the body but Libat blocks it. Walay Buut has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Higanti Libat.

Horrible takedown attempt by Libat or perhaps it was just good defense by Buut, which made it look bad. Buut is looking to counter with a body kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buut. Libat shoots in and drives through. Buut sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Libat. No joy for Buut on that attempt. Libat follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Libat throws a body punch but Buut moves out of range. Buut goes for a double leg but Libat avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Libat continues to drive forward. Buut backing away here, and Libat unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Libat drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Libat takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Buut breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buut shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Libat napping and manages to drive through into side control! Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Walay Buut is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Libat is looking to regain half guard here but Buut keeps moving and retains side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat struggling a bit here.
And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buut has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
