Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amadeusz Roslik (ranked 3011 p4p, 4054 weight class) and Shang Chi (ranked 378 p4p, 0 weight class). Shang Chi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amadeusz Roslik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shang Chi! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roslik shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Roslik was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Roslik just content to control the position. Chi is looking to reverse the position. Roslik trying to control the position but Chi is working away. You can see the frustration on Chi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Roslik tries to advance to mount but Chi denies him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roslik working away. Roslik tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roslik working the body and head with strikes. Roslik stands up. Danga de danga de dang - Chi scores with a four punch combination! Chi wants to clinch. Chi throws a nice head kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chi tries to clinch up. Roslik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chi was well out of range. Poor timing from Roslik. Roslik dodges the punch combination from Chi.

Roslik takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Roslik shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roslik decides to return to a standing position. Chi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chi clobbers Roslik with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chi wants to clinch. Chi fails in his attempt to clinch. Roslik misses the shot to the body. Chi throws a good cross that connects.
Roslik closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chi circles away. Roslik shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Chi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Roslik is controlling him. Roslik is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Chi looking for a sweep. Not yet Chi, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roslik won't allow Chi to get back to his feet. Roslik trying to control but Chi is working from the bottom. Roslik stopping the sweep attempt from Chi. Roslik looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Roslik preventing the sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Shang Chi will probably get the nod. That's time! Roslik's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Chi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roslik. Chi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Roslik closes the distance and clinches up with Chi, looking for a takedown. Roslik pushes Chi against the cage but Chi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Roslik gets in close and instigates a clinch. Roslik has Chi pressed against the cage, preventing Chi from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Chi tries to break free but Roslik pushes him back against the cage. Chi wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Chi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Chi misses with a short punch on the inside. Roslik pulls Chi into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Roslik controls Chi momentarily but Chi frees himself. Roslik wants to stand but Chi is controlling the position. Roslik manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chi manages to get himself to full guard.
Roslik slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roslik is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Chi wants to improve his position but instead Roslik has moved into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chi can do anything to dispel that myth. Roslik wants to take a breather but Chi is having none of it. Chi wants to improve his position but Roslik is controlling well.
Chi is not content to let Roslik control the position. Roslik keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Chi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roslik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chi is refusing to be controlled, as Roslik sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chi is positioning himself well to prevent Roslik advancing to mount. Roslik works his way into full mount! Roslik postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chi looks a forlorn figure.

Amadeusz Roslik overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roslik can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chi is looking to escape. Chi tries to hold on but Roslik pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roslik has hold of Chi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Chi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Amadeusz Roslik dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Chi lands a jab. Roslik fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chi, pushing him back against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Chi tries to circle away but Roslik has him pinned against the cage. Roslik has Chi pressed against the cage, preventing Chi from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Chi stops a takedown attempt from Roslik.

A head punch on the inside from Roslik fails to land. Roslik tries to score a body lock takedown but Chi shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Roslik wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amadeusz Roslik. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roslik keeps control of Chi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Roslik pulls guard. Chi with a flurry of punches that miss. Roslik is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chi can do to turn this around? Chi stands and steps away. Roslik gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Chi tries to clinch but Roslik moves away and Roslik counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chi is looking to clinch. Chi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Roslik shoots for a double leg takedown but Chi sprawls well. He's pushed Roslik's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Chi tries to close the distance and clinch but Roslik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Roslik lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Chi breaks from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Chi lands the left hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chi thuds his right hand into Roslik's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Chi tries to clinch up. Chi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Amadeusz Roslik is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Roslik clinches. Roslik lands a right hand. Chi wants to break free but Roslik has control.
Chi is trying to push Roslik away but Roslik has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Roslik tries to pull guard but Chi won't allow it.
Roslik goes for a takedown attempt but Chi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Roslik shoots in but Chi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chi throws a series of punches but Roslik moves out of range. Roslik misses with a head kick.
Roslik is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Chi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. A jab lands there for Chi. Chi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Roslik's head. Chi wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roslik swats away the attempt to clinch by Chi. Roslik keeps the fight on the outside. Chi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roslik manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Roslik lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Chi misses with a wild combination.
Shang Chi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roslik at a distance.
Chi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Roslik shoots in and bounces Chi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Chi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
And that's the end of the fight! Shang Chi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Chi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by split decision... Amadeusz Roslik! In his post fight interview, Amadeusz Roslik started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
