Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Tyson (ranked 6138 p4p, 5884 weight class) and Grey Matter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evander Tyson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Evander Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Grey Matter! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson throws the left hand but Matter avoids the punch easily. Tyson shoots in for a takedown but Matter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Matter moves into the clinch. Matter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tyson working hard to break the clinch. Come on Matter - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Tyson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Matter's efforts to push away. Tyson can't break the clinch.
Matter is trying to stall.
Matter is trying to pull guard but Tyson has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matter is looking for a takedown. That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Matter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tyson sprawls well initially but Matter persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Matter controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matter tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Tyson. Matter controlling the action here. Matter is nestled in close to Tyson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Tyson is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Matter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Grey Matter dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Tyson closes the distance and clinches. Matter jumps guard but Tyson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Matter is defending well against a takedown attempt. Tyson is trying to break the clinch but Matter has him pressed against the cage. Tyson is trying to force a seperation but Matter has the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matter blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Matter has hold of one of Tyson's legs. Tyson is fighting the takedown attempt but Matter gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Matter wants to get up but he can't break Tyson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Matter sitting in guard, not really doing much. Matter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tyson is keeping the position for now. Matter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Grey Matter has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Matter scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Tyson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Matter controls the pace. Matter lands a couple of decent looking shots. Matter is stalling in the full guard. Matter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matter stands and throws Tyson's legs to the side, diving into side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. More stalling from Matter. Matter looks up at the clock and then as Tyson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Matter smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Matter controls the position. Matter stands up and we're back to a striking position. Grey Matter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Matter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Matter is in Tyson's guard. Tyson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Matter controls the pace. Matter is continuing to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tyson's guard. Matter performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Matter is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Matter content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Matter scoring with strikes to the body and head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Grey Matter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Matter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Matter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tyson closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Matter tries to work over Tyson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tyson can't break the clinch.
Matter goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tyson prevents it.
Tyson is trying to force a seperation but Matter has the dominant position. Tyson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Tyson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Tyson working hard to break the clinch. Matter successfully pulls guard.
Matter managing to control the position. Tyson stopping the sweep attempt from Matter. Matter managing to control the position. Matter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tyson manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tyson is keeping the position for now. Matter advances position into side control! Matter remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Matter in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Matter tries for a kimura but Tyson is defending well. Matter is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Tyson's shoulder. That is not cool. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Evander Tyson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Grey Matter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Grey Matter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Matter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
