Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rio Gracie (ranked 5327 p4p, 24475 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 542 p4p, 0 weight class). Rio Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rio Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A nice side step and Nada releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard. Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nada for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Nada is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Nada is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nada trying to control from the bottom.
Gracie trying to control the pace. Gracie has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gracie fails to take his opponent's back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gracie fails to advance to Nada's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gracie looking to control and managing it successfully. Nada stops Gracie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Nada tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gracie controlling from the full mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rio Gracie dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gracie drives through with a takedown into guard. Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Nada is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nada manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Nada's guard. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nada is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gracie stands and throws Nada's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Nada! Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nada tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Nada really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gracie moves to the back. Gracie slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Nada is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Gracie off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Gracie is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Nada won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Gracie off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rio Gracie! A victorious Rio Gracie thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
