Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Alexs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Alexs! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexs stuffs the takedown attempt from Fox. Fox gets slowly back to his feet. Alexs swats away the attempt to clinch by Fox. Fox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Michael Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alexs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fox misses with a takedown attempt - Alexs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alexs jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Michael Fox has been cut. Alexs moves into the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fox takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Alexs is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Alexs jumps guard.
Alexs is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Alexs keeping moving, preventing Fox from controlling successfully. Fox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Alexs has his feet on Fox's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alexs connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fox. Fox circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Alexs avoids the head kick by Fox.

Alexs shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Alexs missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Fox misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Alexs controlling the pace. Alexs seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fox does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. It looks like Alexs is going to stand back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fox takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Fox is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Alexs looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Alexs shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Fox keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Alexs circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fox gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fox drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Alexs gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Alexs manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Alexs seems keen to control Fox's posture. Alexs is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Alexs controls Fox momentarily but Fox frees himself. Fox is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Alexs holds on and takes a little breather. Alexs wants to sweep here but Fox controlling him for the moment. Alexs working a defensive guard here.

Fox moves in looking to clinch but Alexs pushes him off. Alexs tries to clinch but Fox moves out of range. Fox throws a sloppy head kick and Alexs moves out of range easily. Fox displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alexs. Fox swinging wilding here.
Fox gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Alexs counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alexs leaves Fox with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fox shoots and misses and Alexs counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Alexs has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Fox throws a looping overhand right but Alexs ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alexs cracks Fox with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Alexs tries to clinch but Fox is having none of it. Alexs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Fox. No joy for Alexs on that attempt. Alexs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fox moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Alexs is looking to clinch but Fox is avoiding it.
Fox shoots in and bounces Alexs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Alexs looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Fox has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Alexs is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alexs is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Alexs trying to control the position.

Fox gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Alexs counters with a lovely straight right hand! Alexs gets the takedown into side control. Fox is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Fox is trying to get back to his feet.

Rocky Alexs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Michael Fox's cut. That's time! Fox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Alexs lands a nice short elbow. Alexs controlling the action here. Alexs wants to take a breather but Fox is having none of it. Alexs controlling the action here. That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Alexs seems content to control. Fox tries to get to full guard but Alexs has control of the leg. Fox is refusing to be controlled, as Alexs sits in half guard. Alexs not doing much here.
Alexs is looking for a kimura but Fox is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alexs to get the leverage. Fox is trying to get back to full guard. Fox is in trouble now - Alexs has advanced to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alexs postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fox looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alexs controlling from the full mount. Fox is trying desperately to improve position. Fox is bucking up trying to escape but Alexs cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Rocky Alexs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Alexs looking to control but Fox is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Alexs controlling the pace for now.

Fox fails with the takedown and Alexs counters with a nice double leg into guard. Alexs stands up and waves to Fox to follow him. Good shot there by Alexs. Michael Fox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alexs lands with a cross. Excellent takedown into side control there by Alexs. Alexs scoring with punches and elbows.
