Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Slay (ranked 3865 p4p, 4458 weight class) and Johnny Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Slay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Brown! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively. Brown gets a clinch. Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Slay throws a head kick that misses. Brown moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Kevin Slay has been cut. Brown rushes Slay and presses him up against the cage. Brown drags the fight down to the ground.
Brown has Slay pulled in close to control his posture. Brown uses the cage to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brown throws a nice looking combination but Slay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Slay swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slay plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Slay lands with a kick to the temple. Brown shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slay circles away quickly and effectively. Slay lands a head kick. Brown smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Brown swinging wildly here.
Slay lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Brown. Slay parries the strikes from Brown easily there. Brown is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Slay to escape.
Brown in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Brown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brown throws a series of punches but Slay avoids them all with ease. Slay throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily. Kevin Slay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brown tries to bum rush Slay with a series of wild strikes but Slay uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slay lands a lovely overhand right. Slay throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range. Brown gets in close and instigates a clinch. Slay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slay throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brown. Brown is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Brown throws a combination. Slay tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Slay is rocked! Slay throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Oh Slay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Brown clinches up with Slay and pushes him back against the cage. Brown lands a nice uppercut. Brown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brown wobbles Slay with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Brown dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Slay to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Johnny Brown! Johnny Brown decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
