Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Klas Jonsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zeus Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jonsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice takedown defense from Jonsson. No joy for Thompson on that attempt.
Jonsson lands a big head kick that sends Thompson tumbling to the mat! Jonsson takes a step backwards and waves Thompson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Zeus Thompson has been cut.
Jonsson misses with an uppercut.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jonsson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jonsson sneaks out the side door and pushes Thompson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jonsson throws a head kick that misses.
An inside leg kick from Jonsson misses.
Jonsson blocks a head kick by Thompson.
Thompson is looking to clinch.
Jonsson lands a nice shot that snaps Thompson's head back.
Jonsson stuffs the takedown.
Jonsson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Thompson looks for a takedown but Jonsson sprawls well.
Klas Jonsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeus Thompson.
Jonsson swats away the attempt to clinch by Thompson.
Jonsson gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Thompson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Thompson misses with a takedown attempt - Jonsson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Thompson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jonsson lands a big uppercut and Thompson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Thompson looks OK. Jonsson waves Thompson back to his feet!
Thompson is rocked!
BAM! Jonsson delivers a spinning backfist that drops Thompson like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
