Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Austin (ranked 23575 p4p, 22937 weight class) and Jumba Jookiba (ranked 565 p4p, 266 weight class). Jumba Jookiba will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 41 - 0, fighting out of London, Jumba Jookiba!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin leaves Jookiba with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Austin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jookiba doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jookiba manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Austin throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jookiba uses it to pass to side control.

Jookiba darts in looking for a takedown but Austin gets double underhooks and turns Jookiba into the cage.
Jookiba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ron Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jumba Jookiba.

Austin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jookiba to the ground. Austin is now in Jookiba's guard.

Jookiba wriggles free and stands up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Austin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jookiba on his heels. He'll look to pass Jookiba's guard now, I'm sure.

Ron Austin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jookiba shoots in but Austin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
It looked like Austin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Jookiba bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Austin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Austin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jumba Jookiba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Austin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jookiba is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jookiba and Austin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
You can see the frustration on Jookiba's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Austin has hold of Jookiba's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jookiba seems comfortable defending it but Austin has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jookiba is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jookiba is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Austin couldn't care less - he's delighted!
