Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraag looks to score with a jab to the body but Shavers is just out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Kraag 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Shavers walks into a stiff left hand from Kraag.
Kraag takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kraag darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kraag connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shavers. Shavers circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shavers throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kraag throws a sloppy body shot
and Shavers counters with a right hand to the body.
Shavers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kraag.
Shavers fires out a quick counter leg kick but Kraag just manages to avoid it.
Kraag swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Desi Kraag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Shavers counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kraag goes for a takedown attempt but Shavers pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Shavers is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kraag fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shavers manages to avoid it.
Kraag misses with a body shot.
Shavers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Shavers counters with a nice leg kick.

Shavers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kraag backwards.

Kraag is trying to force a seperation but Shavers has the dominant position.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Shavers.
Kraag tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Shavers lands a hook that snaps the head of Kraag backwards.

Kraag has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shavers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Earnie Shavers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Desi Kraag.

Kraag seems to have recovered his senses.
Kraag is trying to push Shavers away but Shavers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Shavers has Kraag pressed against the cage, preventing Kraag from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kraag wants to break the clinch but can't.
Shavers throws a big uppercut that drops Kraag! More strikes from Shavers and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kraag lies dazed against the cage as Shavers celebrates with his cornermen!
