PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuta Sanguiao (ranked 23873 p4p, 3865 weight class) and Thad Thayer (ranked 509 p4p, 426 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thayer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sanguiao sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sanguiao avoids the head kick by Thayer.
Sanguiao tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Thayer manages to circle out of the way.

Thayer has Sanguiao up against the cage in a clinch.

Thayer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanguiao sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thayer somewhat.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sanguiao lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Thayer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanguiao tries to avoid it but Thayer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanguiao to the ground. Sanguiao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Thayer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanguiao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
