Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maurits Assndrop (ranked 136 p4p, 2451 weight class) and Jermaine Camacho (ranked 21 p4p, 294 weight class). Camacho is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hero Of War - Rise Against. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assndrop lands a lovely overhand right.
The fighters circle momentarily. Camacho darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Camacho misses the shot to the body.
Assndrop was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Camacho lands the left hand.
Camacho misses with a straight left.
As Camacho looks to move away, Assndrop throws a big counter combo but Camacho just gets out of the way.
A nice leg kick lands there from Assndrop.

Jermaine Camacho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Camacho throws a body punch but Assndrop moves out of range.
Assndrop appears to be looking for a big counter.

Assndrop throws a jab but it's blocked by Camacho.
Assndrop blocks a head kick by Camacho.
Camacho throws the left hand but Assndrop avoids the punch easily.
Camacho misses with a straight right.
Assndrop misses with a few strikes there.
Camacho lands with a cross.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Camacho has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Assndrop has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Assndrop there as he acknowledges the shot.
Camacho walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Assndrop checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
An attempted straight right counter from Assndrop misses the target.
Camacho slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Assndrop seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Camacho lands with a kick to the temple. Assndrop shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Maurits Assndrop has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Camacho throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Assndrop fires out a quick counter leg kick but Camacho just manages to avoid it.

Camacho shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Camacho throws out a loose jab but Assndrop uses good head movement to avoid it.
Assndrop half committed to a counter leg kick.
Camacho keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Assndrop tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Assndrop counters with a thumping low kick.
Camacho connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Assndrop momentarily.

Assndrop moves into range and connects with a jab.
Assndrop throws a right and a left that Camacho avoids nicely.
Camacho drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Assndrop defends it well.
Camacho is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Assndrop had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Assndrop moves out of range of the body kick from Camacho.
Assndrop looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Camacho throws an off balance right hand
and Assndrop counters with a huge left! Camacho is in big trouble! He's backing up but Assndrop isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Camacho from any more damage. A dominating finish by Assndrop!
