Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Sober (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Woolard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sober comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Walk. Tyson Woolard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Sober!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Woolard!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woolard blocks a head kick by Sober.
Sober keeps the fight on the outside.
Woolard stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sober.
Woolard throws a leg kick

and Sober moves into the clinch.
Sober tries for a takedown but Woolard manages to get underhooks.
Woolard is trying to drag Sober to the mat but Sober just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Sober decides to pull guard.
Woolard throwing strikes from guard but Sober blocks nicely.
Sober pulls Woolard in close to prevent any damage.
Woolard postures up.
Sober wants to get back to his feet but Woolard is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Woolard wanted to stand there but Sober had control of the position.

Woolard tries to free his leg and advance position but Sober is retaining full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sober had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Woolard is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sober Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Woolard's back instead.

Sober is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Woolard wants to control his opponent's hands but Sober gets his hands free.
Sober is trying to stick to Woolard's back but Woolard is turning into Sober. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sober's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Woolard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Woolard wants to control from the top but Sober keeps moving.

Woolard stands up and waves to Sober to follow him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sober looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Woolard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Woolard counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sober's guard now.

A close round but Tyson Woolard will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Woolard fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sober, pushing him back against the cage.
Woolard fails to pull guard.

Sober misses with a takedown attempt

and Woolard counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sober won't be happy with that.
Woolard cracks Sober with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Woolard goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sober has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Woolard but great work by Sober.
Sober slows the pace down.
Sober trying to control the action but Woolard is working from the bottom.
Sober takes a little break here. Woolard wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Woolard manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sober's best efforts.
Sober looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Woolard is trying to control but can't.

Sober is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Woolard is just riding it out for now. Sober eventually gives up the hold.
Sober tries to stand and escape but Woolard actually recovers to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sober looking to sit in guard and control but Woolard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Sober striking off his back but it's not causing Woolard any problems.
Sober controls Woolard momentarily but Woolard frees himself.
Woolard missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sober is trying to keep Woolard in close.

Sober tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sober misses with a takedown
and Woolard counters with a good, hard body kick but Sober shrugs it off.
Sober has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Woolard.

Woolard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Woolard pulls Sober into guard.
Woolard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sober manages to get himself to full guard.

Sober is looking for a triangle here but Woolard uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
You can see the frustration on Sober's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sober is trying to buck Woolard off.
Sober is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Woolard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Sober's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Woolard shoots in for a takedown but Sober shows good takedown defense.

Woolard tries to keep at a distance but Sober has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sober ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sober no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Woolard is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sober is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sober has escaped and now he's on top!

Sober stands and throws Woolard's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Woolard slips a nice elbow through Sober's hands, connecting with Sober's forehead.
Sober is looking to control Woolard's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sober avoid being mounted?
Sober is pressing down on Woolard's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Woolard tries to stand but Sober is controlling from the bottom.
