Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 2026 p4p, 1685 weight class) and Age Sixteen (ranked 256 p4p, 223 weight class). Ruddo Ryokale is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 31 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruddo Ryokale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Age Sixteen!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Sixteen as Ryokale shoots in.
Sixteen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sixteen tries to clinch up.

Ryokale drives through with a takedown into Sixteen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ryokale got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sixteen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ryokale has managed to get both his arms back between Sixteen's legs - danger averted.
Sixteen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Sixteen throws a big elbow that misses.
Sixteen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sixteen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sixteen controlling from the top position.
Ryokale looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sixteen is one step ahead there.
Ryokale is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Sixteen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Sixteen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Sixteen won't allow Ryokale to sweep him here.
Sixteen stays in close to Ryokale's body and controls the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sixteen throws a big elbow that misses.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ryokale is on top in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sixteen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sixteen has his foot on Ryokale's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ryokale works his way back into a safe position though.

Ryokale postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sixteen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ryokale, into his guard.

Sixteen won't allow Ryokale to sweep him here.
Sixteen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ryokale is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ryokale manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sixteen manages to get himself to full guard.


Sixteen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ryokale defends it easily.

Sixteen throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ryokale lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Ryokale avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ryokale works over Sixteen with some ground and pound from guard.
Ryokale throws a big right hand that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sixteen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ryokale distracts Sixteen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sixteen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ryokale is one step ahead there.
Ryokale is in close to Sixteen's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sixteen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ryokale scoring with some ground and pound.
Sixteen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Ryokale wants to sweep here but Sixteen controlling him for the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ruddo Ryokale dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No joy there for Sixteen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ryokale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sixteen's waist but Sixteen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryokale off to one side.
Sixteen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ryokale jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Ryokale looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ryokale connects with a single shot there.
Sixteen takes one to the side of the head.
A head kick misses from Ryokale.
Ruddo Ryokale is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ryokale ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sixteen throws a series of punches but Ryokale avoids them all with ease.
A slow jab from Ryokale misses its intended target.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sixteen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ryokale's efforts to push away.
Sixteen tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ryokale avoids it.
Sixteen landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Ryokale slowing the pace effectively.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sixteen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ryokale blocks an elbow strike from Sixteen.
Sixteen has Ryokale pushed against the cage.
Sixteen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Ryokale's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sixteen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ryokale lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Sixteen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sixteen tries to land knees in the clinch but Ryokale avoids the damage to the body.
Sixteen misses with a knee to the head.

Ryokale wants the takedown. Sixteen is fighting it off but Ryokale persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sixteen's guard against the cage.
Ryokale keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sixteen's head.

Sixteen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ryokale is aware though and is defending well.
Ryokale has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ryokale passes easily into side control. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sixteen wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Sixteen tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Sixteen tries to bench press Ryokale off him but Ryokale keeps the position.
Ryokale cracks Sixteen with an elbow. That is naaassty.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sixteen regains half guard.

Sixteen looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sixteen pushes Ryokale off but Ryokale dives into side control.
Sixteen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ryokale wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ryokale working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Sixteen is rocked!
Ryokale cracks Sixteen with a big elbow.
Sixteen is still in real trouble! Can Ryokale finish him?
Ryokale creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ryokale lands a nice forearm strike.
Ryokale in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Sixteen looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Ryokale turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ruddo Ryokale!
