Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 41 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill Goldberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timofey Babinski!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg shoots in and drives through. Babinski sprawls well.
Goldberg throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Babinski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Babinski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Bill Goldberg has been cut.
Goldberg tries for a takedown but Babinski circles away easily
enabling Babinski to counter with a crisp jab.
Goldberg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Babinski as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Goldberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Babinski throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Goldberg is breathing heavily.
Babinski looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Babinski backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Goldberg's temple! It sends Goldberg violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Babinski celebrates and the doctors try to help Goldberg!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Timofey Babinski!
