The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fortythree counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A shot to the body from Hanma misses
and Fortythree counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Baki Hanma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanma lands a left and a right that sends Fortythree crashing to the canvas! Hanma dives into mount looking to finish!
Fortythree is rocked!
It looks like One Fortythree has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hanma is working for a guillotine from mount but Fortythree frees his head quite easily.
Hanma is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hanma extends the arm and Fortythree is forced to tap!

Baki Hanma spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
