Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimbo Gregor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Luciano!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Topper Green and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luciano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gregor throws out the jab.
Luciano looks like he wants to counter punch here.

A slow jab from Luciano misses its intended target.
Gregor swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Luciano throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Gregor to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Tony Luciano has been cut.
Luciano throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
An attempted straight right counter from Gregor misses the target.
Luciano waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gregor.
Gregor swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Luciano will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luciano throws a lazy uppercut
and Gregor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Luciano! Gregor lets Luciano back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Luciano is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gregor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Luciano.
A little jabbing left from Luciano on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gregor lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Luciano up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Gregor from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Luciano's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimbo Gregor!
