Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Olavi White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Okada Kazuchika!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a wild body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts White, as that shot connected.
White goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kazuchika takes a swing at White's ribcage but misses.
As Kazuchika looks to move away, White throws a big counter combo but Kazuchika just gets out of the way.
White throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kazuchika stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kazuchika takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White throws a body shot but no joy.
Kazuchika wants to clinch
and White counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kazuchika takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A shot to the liver by White. Beautiful body shot.
Kazuchika uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by White.
Kazuchika takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kazuchika misses with a wild body shot.
White was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
White lands a slapping body shot.
Kazuchika looks winded!
White stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
White misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
White closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kazuchika! White dives in looking to finish! Kazuchika is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Olavi White!
