Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 4414 p4p, 5229 weight class) and Bonnabengt Rattinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonnabengt Rattinsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rattinsson enables Austin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rattinsson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Austin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rattinsson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rattinsson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Austin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Austin passes Rattinsson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Austin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rattinsson has hold of Austin's hands but Austin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Austin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Austin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Austin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rattinsson looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Rattinsson looks winded!

Rattinsson is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Austin is punishing Rattinsson with strikes - can he finish him?!
Austin really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rattinsson.
Rattinsson tries to break free.
Austin lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Austin has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Rattinsson's body.
Austin lands a shot to the head.
