Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sone Fujimaro (ranked 651 p4p, 1236 weight class) and Xylon Kofel (ranked 94 p4p, 174 weight class). Fujimaro's entrance music is 焔 (Flame) + 暁ノ糸 (Thread of Dawn) by Wagakki Band. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujimaro cracks Kofel with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fujimaro steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kofel.
Fujimaro fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kofel getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

and Fujimaro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fujimaro moves out of range as Kofel strikes.
Fujimaro doesn't manage to clinch there - Kofel circles away.
Fujimaro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kofel manages to avoid it.

letting Kofel counter with a right hand.
Fujimaro throws a lazy uppercut
and Kofel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fujimaro scores with a sloppy right hand. Kofel should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fujimaro connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Kofel lands a jab to the head.
Fujimaro darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Fujimaro as he connects with a hook.

Fujimaro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fujimaro. That's going to slow Kofel down.
Kofel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fujimaro just misses with a punch to the body.
Kofel has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Fujimaro throws a low kick, looking for Kofel's leg but Kofel calmly moves out of range.
Fujimaro ducks under a wild hook from Kofel.
Kofel has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fujimaro.

and Kofel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kofel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kofel misses with a straight left.
Fujimaro plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fujimaro drops Kofel with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kofel looks back up at him and smiles so Fujimaro waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kofel is rocked!
Fujimaro drops Kofel with a straight right hand, right on the button! Fujimaro follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
