Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Libio Shunsuke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky McFinnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Libio Shunsuke could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Micky McFinnigan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Libio Shunsuke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Micky McFinnigan! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shunsuke throws a head kick but McFinnigan moves out of range.
Shunsuke is looking to clinch. McFinnigan lands a lovely overhand right. Shunsuke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McFinnigan pinned against the cage. McFinnigan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Shunsuke misses with a takedown attempt - McFinnigan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Shunsuke shoots in for a double leg but McFinnigan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Libio Shunsuke. That's going to take a lot out of him. McFinnigan tries to close the distance and clinch but Shunsuke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McFinnigan wants to clinch up but Shunsuke keeps it at a distance. Donk. McFinnigan catches Shunsuke right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Libio Shunsuke has been cut. McFinnigan lands a big shot that drops Shunsuke! Can he finish him?
McFinnigan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shunsuke wants to stand and escape but McFinnigan is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shunsuke is striking but McFinnigan is not phased and passes to half guard. McFinnigan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shunsuke is trying to stand.
McFinnigan wants to get back to his feet.
McFinnigan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Shunsuke can't escape the position.
McFinnigan controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. McFinnigan avoids the attempt from Shunsuke to control. Shunsuke is desperately trying to improve his position but McFinnigan has a good base and remains in mount. McFinnigan controlling from the full mount. McFinnigan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Despite being in the dominant position, Micky McFinnigan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McFinnigan scores with a jab. Shunsuke acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Shunsuke moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Shunsuke tries to keep at a distance but McFinnigan has taken the fight into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shunsuke tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McFinnigan smiles and moves away.
Shunsuke forces McFinnigan back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micky McFinnigan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Libio Shunsuke's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McFinnigan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Shunsuke wants to clinch but McFinnigan slips to the side and McFinnigan counters with a huge left! Shunsuke is in big trouble! He's backing up but McFinnigan isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Shunsuke from any more damage. A dominating finish by McFinnigan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Micky McFinnigan!
