Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between new colin buker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). new colin buker looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cross shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts buker as he jumps to the side.
buker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cross, pushing him back against the cage.
Cross tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. buker just stands there and leans against the cage.

Cross looks to throw an elbow but misses.
buker breaks the clinch.
Cross tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and buker counters with a single leg into guard. Cross didn't expect that.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells buker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Cross jumps guard but buker stands there with Cross around his waist. Cross gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cross feints and then cracks buker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow buker down.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
buker tries to clinch there but Cross circles away.
Cross fails with the takedown
and buker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Cross controls buker momentarily but buker frees himself.
buker stands and throws Cross's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cross throws a quick head kick that skims the top of buker's head.
Cross wants to clinch up but buker keeps it at a distance.
Cross doesn't succeed with the takedown
and buker counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cross!

Cross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with buker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well buker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
