The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barter takes one to the chin there.
A combination from Barter does no damage.
Barter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ito but Ito pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ito wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Barter has closed the distance and engaged Ito in a clinch.

Ito lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Barter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ito sprawls well. Ito wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barter gets slowly back to his feet.

Barter tries to work over Ito's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Ito throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Barter shoots in and drives through. Ito sprawls well.
Ito changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Ito closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Ito ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ito no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ito wants to sweep here but Barter controlling him for the moment.
