Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Busey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fidel Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gary Busey has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gary Busey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fidel Castro! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Busey lands with a slapping head kick. Busey throws a sloppy head kick and Castro moves out of range easily. Busey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Castro's waist but Castro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Busey off to one side. Castro has taken the fight to the clinch.

Busey could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Castro fails to pull guard.

Busey will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Castro up against the cage. Castro stalls. Busey with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Busey keeps the fight on the outside. Castro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Busey but Busey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Castro tries to clinch up. Castro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Busey's guard. Busey is breathing heavily. Castro wants to control from the top but Busey keeps moving. Busey avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Castro trying to control the position from guard on top but Busey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Castro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Busey has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Castro has passed into side control.
Castro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Castro wants to control but Busey is keeping him busy. Castro might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Busey kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Castro has a takedown stuffed. A good leg kick by Castro.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Busey moves into the clinch successfully.

Castro keeps control of Busey as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Busey prevents the takedown attempt.
Busey has had enough of the clinch but Castro keeps him there for the moment. Busey wants to break the clinch but can't.
Busey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Castro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Busey tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Busey gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Busey wanted to stand there but Castro had control of the position. Castro is trying to control the position but Busey postures up. Busey tries to free his leg and advance position but Castro is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gary Busey will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Busey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Busey moves into range and clinches up with Castro. Busey is trying to break free. Busey misses with a knee strike.
Castro tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Busey just stands there and leans against the cage. Busey has Castro pressed against the cage.
Castro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Castro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Busey circles away. Busey gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Castro is breathing heavily. Busey wants to get back to his feet but Castro is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Castro trying to control but Busey is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro stands up from guard. Let's bang! Busey clinches. Busey stalling in the clinch.
Castro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Busey fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gary Busey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fidel Castro. Busey lands with a kick to the temple. Castro shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Busey throws a nice head kick!

Castro chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Busey can pounce on him.
Busey clinches up with Castro and pushes him back against the cage. Busey makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Busey jumps guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Busey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Castro! Castro tries to lock up and control but Busey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Castro manages to regain half guard. Good work. Castro manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Castro lands a decent punch to the body there. Busey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Busey trying to control but Castro is working from the bottom. Busey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Castro's guard. Castro trying to keep a closed guard but Busey is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Busey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Busey clinches up against the cage. Busey using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Castro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Busey smiles and moves away.

Gary Busey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Busey throws a sloppy head kick and Castro moves out of range easily. Busey misses the body punch and Castro counters with a good low kick that Busey was not able to check. Castro fails with the takedown. Castro shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Castro showed some decent athleticism there. Busey scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Castro manages to mount him!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Fidel Castro will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Castro closes the distance but Busey moves to the side and Busey counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Castro is lucky that one didn't land flush. Busey throws a lazy head kick and Castro counters with a nice body kick.
Castro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Busey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Castro takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Castro keeps the fight on the outside. Castro takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Castro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Busey as he jumps to the side. Castro shoots and misses and Busey counters with a head kick. That will keep Castro thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Castro is rocked! Gary Busey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fidel Castro.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick by Busey - that's a beauty! Castro is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Busey can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
