Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Fuisse (ranked 3017 p4p, 1513 weight class) and Alcide Almunecar (ranked 385 p4p, 201 weight class). Alcide Almunecar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuisse fails with the takedown
and Almunecar counters with a nice body kick.

Fuisse goes for a double leg but Almunecar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Almunecar continues to drive forward.

Fuisse dives in and grabs Almunecar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Almunecar pushes down on Fuisse's head and hops out.
It seemed like Almunecar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
