Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Efim Gracie (ranked 2601 p4p, 2682 weight class) and Casey Peterson (ranked 214 p4p, 220 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by The Reunion- Eminem ft. Royce Da 5'9. Casey Peterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Casey Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Peterson gets a clinch.
Gracie tries to break the clinch but Peterson is controlling the position.
Gracie is looking to break free of the clinch but Peterson has double underhooks.
Gracie wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gracie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Peterson jumps guard but Gracie turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Peterson throws an elbow but it misses.

Peterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gracie walks away with a smile on his face. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Peterson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.

Gracie throws out a loose jab but Peterson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Peterson ducks under a wild hook from Gracie.
Peterson wants to counter with a clinch but Gracie pushes him away.
Peterson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peterson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie.
Efim Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie misses with a lunging right hand

and Peterson counters by clinching up.
Peterson is trying to pull guard but Gracie has him pressed against the cage.
Efim Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casey Peterson.

Peterson manages to pull guard.

Peterson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Peterson is trying to keep Gracie in close.
Gracie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peterson on the ground.

Peterson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Peterson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gracie is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Peterson pulls down on the head and he's put Gracie to sleep! This one is all over!
