Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mehmet Shakaromanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tai Kina!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kina rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shakaromanov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shakaromanov misses with an uppercut. Kina saw that one coming.
Shakaromanov lands a jab to the head.
Shakaromanov misses with a looping left.
Kina takes one to the chin there.
We've been told by Shakaromanov's head coaches at Rabid Dog that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Shakaromanov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Shakaromanov loads up on a big right hand but Kina slips the punch.
Kina bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kina drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Shakaromanov explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tai Kina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kina tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shakaromanov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kina somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab from Shakaromanov misses.
Kina displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shakaromanov throws out the jab.
Shakaromanov backing away here, and Kina unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Shakaromanov throws a looping overhand right but Kina ducks down to avoid it.
Shakaromanov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kina is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Shakaromanov engages and cracks Kina with a massive lead left hook - Kina tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Shakaromanov is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
