Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Claus Montgomery (ranked 3475 p4p, 5022 weight class) and Mo Ganozri (ranked 407 p4p, 486 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mo Ganozri!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganozri walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Mo Ganozri has been cut.
Montgomery connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ganozri momentarily.

and Montgomery counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Montgomery closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ganozri did well to prevent Montgomery getting side control.

Ganozri has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Montgomery is working away from the top position though.
Montgomery is nestled in close to Ganozri, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A relieved looking Claus Montgomery thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
