Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Belfort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xavier Schmidt!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Belfort does it's job there.
It looks like Xavier Schmidt has been cut.
Belfort misses with a wild combination.
Schmidt is looking to clinch.
Schmidt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Schmidt tries to clinch up.
A lazy left from Belfort finds it's target.
Schmidt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Belfort takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Belfort lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Schmidt out cold! Schmidt is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the ropes! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
