Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uriel Tartarus (ranked 2664 p4p, 2235 weight class) and William Wallace (ranked 341 p4p, 292 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Uriel Tartarus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Wallace! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tartarus counters with a nice leg kick. Wallace fails with a takedown attempt. Tartarus appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Wallace misses with a takedown and Tartarus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tartarus circles away from the clinch attempt and Tartarus counters with a straight punch to the midsection. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace wants to clinch. Tartarus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Tartarus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wallace lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tartarus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wallace gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tartarus counters with a low kick, right behind Wallace 's knee. Uriel Tartarus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Wallace. Wallace rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tartarus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nice takedown defense from Tartarus. No joy for Wallace on that attempt. It looked like Tartarus was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wallace. Wallace throws a right hand that misses
and Tartarus counters with a nice leg kick. Wallace fails with the takedown. Tartarus was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tartarus counters with a stiff right hand. Wallace tries for a takedown but Tartarus circles away easily letting Tartarus counter with a right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wallace tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tartarus defends well and Wallace ends up having to push Tartarus into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. William Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace tries to clinch up. Wallace fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wallace tries to clinch but Tartarus moves away and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Wallace throws an off balance right hand
and Tartarus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wallace shoots in and drives through. Tartarus sprawls well. Tartarus looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Wallace looks winded! Tartarus fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Tartarus moves out of range as Wallace strikes. Tartarus cracks Wallace with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Tartarus cracks Wallace with a good jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tartarus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wallace sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tartarus is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Wallace looking to score a takedown here. Tartarus is defending well but Wallace drives through and ends up in Tartarus's guard. Wallace won't allow Tartarus to sweep him here. Tartarus wants to get back to his feet but Wallace is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tartarus managing to control the position. Wallace looking to sit in guard and control but Tartarus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tartarus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wallace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tartarus has managed to get both his arms back between Wallace's legs - danger averted. Tartarus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tartarus decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Wallace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tartarus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wallace gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tartarus. Wallace with a poor takedown and Tartarus counters with a straight right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Tartarus stuffs the takedown. Wallace fails with the takedown. Tartarus drops Wallace with a big left hand! Wallace is injured, injured bad! Tartarus jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uriel Tartarus! Uriel Tartarus seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
