Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between DA Real (ranked 2559 p4p, 4071 weight class) and Keaton Vega (ranked 298 p4p, 447 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega lands a nice hook to Real's body. Real takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Real takes a swing at Vega's ribcage but misses.
Real throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vega was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
A punch lands to the side of Vega 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vega slips under a jab from Real.
Real on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Vega throws a half hearted mid kick.
Vega fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Real has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Real tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vega was well out of range. Poor timing from Real.

Real darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Both fighters circling a little - Vega finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

DA Real seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vega scores with a kick to the body.

A quick step to the side and Real tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Real sends Vega crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Real is motioning to the referee to let Vega up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vega throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Real ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vega moves away.
Vega uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Real.
Vega takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Real paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Real gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Real has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Real smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Vega lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Real drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Real is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Real tries to keep at a distance but Vega has taken the fight into the clinch.

Vega has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Real fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vega looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Vega throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Real lands a big right hand that sends Vega crashing to the mat! Real stays standing though and waves Vega back to his feet!
Vega is still on wobbly legs! Can Real finish him?

It looks like Keaton Vega has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Real lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Vega head around and knocks him out cold! Real hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). DA Real!
After the fight, DA Real was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
